Texticular, sleevetacular update!

Aren't my puns terrible?
Anyway guys, I began sleeving today, and I just could NOT get the connectors out of the 24 pin on my antec tp650w. So I popped to scan in the afternoon and got myself an extension, which also seemed like the connectors weren't going to come out. With a jam and a tug, one was released!

*Also, I put some nice little red 'sinks on my mosfets.

I'll upload pictures tomorrow as it's been a long day and I'm knackered! This is going to take a LOT of practice...

 

lol nice puns Kid.. there should be a tool to get your connectors or something out so that way you can sleeve.. did one come with your sleeves or??

The Journey Is Closing...

What can I say guys?
I don't want to give a closing speech yet, as RV3N is ALMOST finished. There are just a few details here and there to do. But, the timing is great, by the time everything is done, I will be out of hospital recovering I hope. As for that, I'm in hospital next tuesday

First Update:
As the first bit of sleeving, the 24 pin is done!


Trust me guys, as a first time sleever, I'm impressed with the looks and result of my work. And I'm sure the blisters were worth it.

All that's left on the sleeving is my 6 pins.



On another note, the Official RV3N Wallpaper (C) is done!

Texticular Update

Hey guys, there's a package from scan coming tomorrow morning, this will allow me to finish the sleeving and get this thing lit up!
Anyway, I'm in hospital tuesday morning so I'll have a day to make use of that order.

A Horrible Treat

Oh S**t, timing just got bad for RV3N, I only had a day to play with scan's delivery, but, I fell ill this morning and I'm in dopitul tomorrow. What also puts salt in the wound is my cut finger from sleeving this afternoon:

As you may have noticed, these photos are taken with my phone and on my bed. Of course, this morning I was laying in bed waiting for that DPD truck. Just when I was close to making progress, things slow down like this for me, and I've still got a throbbing headache. Being ill at a time like this is a fishing hook up the arse for me.
