Thanks guys for the feedback It was in another PC which I decided to split to build this shuttle. May put some windows in and get some lighting to show the mem etc off
Mini update: Not been doing alot of modding this week as I have 5 assignments due in next week , but I did get time to order some new parts for the project. To replace the X-ice GPU block, I ordered a ArkticFreezer AAF-X800AGP. I have also remade the radiator bracket due to the previous being not very accurate (Aiming for perfection lol). For anyone interested, I have all the component parts drawn in AutoCAD 2004 and will make the file available if anyone wants it?
AutoCAD template available [here] Please be aware that it is hosted using a free service. If bandwidth is exceeded, it will be back up within the hour!
Update 01/04/05 – GFX Cooler arrived. Sorry for the late update, but I have had this on order for 4 weeks now and it has only arrived today. There was a problem with the manufacturer. I would just like to thank Watercooling.de for their excellent customer support and shipping it next day for me at no extra charge Okay, a few pics of the block installed in my X800 Pro AGP. ArkticFreezer AAF-X800AGP Details The block is only 16mm deep making it perfect for shuttles and other SFF computers alike. Installed in my Shuttle, there is 3~4mm clearance between the block and the side of the case. To make the block fit 100%, I will have to do a little filling to just shave 1~2mm off the case for the tubing to fit correctly. Thanks for looking
Thanks for the kind comments guys! That's what I am afraid of, but it all seems fine because I put it all in today and there is plenty of space left for wires etc. Yeah, they are just temp ones utill I go down the DIY store and get every thing I need
looks sweet dude, i don't know anybody who has used a mini black ice, make sure you let us know how it performs. at the start of this thread it says you were aiming to get some overclocking potential but i understand that overclocking a shuttle and other SFFs is almost impossible and that you won't be able to push it very far so it will be nice to see how far you can get, keep up the good work
Thats great. I could never have fitted watercooling in my shuttle, I find it very difficult to work with so you have some serious guts to even try it
Yeah, but I have a back-up plan Got this made a while back now by Enak who's a great guy to know! It is a CNC'd back plate for the BIM rad fo fit onto the shuttle, also available to download if ya want one for yourself. Will take some more shots of it and the rest later when I have some real work done. Until then....
It's not impossible to overclock a shuttle or any other SFF. It depends which shuttle / motherboard your using. Some Shuttle models overclock a lot better than others. Nice project Koola need more updates though.
Thanks, it all fits in rather well Will have one huge update when I get some 10/8 - 1/8" elbow compression fittings (Just ordered them now from Watercooling.de) Not long now...... stay tuned!
