? smoke on the water is a song by Deep Purple so i assume thats why he would be painting the case a nice metallic purple (which is awesome btw)
Latest Update, Most of the work left to do are those little things that take for ever and you dont see what difference you made So here are a few pics, The two main windows, went for something a little different, should fit right in with the top window/topup res. Still need sanding/spraying though Both cases have started filling up now, its suprising where all that lovely space goes, here is the mobo side with the tagan added. The mobo added along with drives and other accesories One thing about those tagan PSU's, man do they have some wires!!! The other case started to fill up too Well thats all the progress so far, watcha think? Oh nearly forgot my storeroom Laters All
Latest update, only minor stuff i am afraid, but it needs doing. An old 10gb hard disk i decided to give the treatment too, it still needs a LED adding, hope it stil works. Tis is looking inside as it stands now. These are the wires i need to hide The finished panel glued into place, think i am still gonna add some hot glue though. ANd the top. Also got a livedrive creative to add. Pics to follow once spraying is complete. Thats it for now - Feedback Welcome. FT
Just sprayed all the accesories, actually not sure if its all of them, but it was all i could find So on to the pics : The Mouse, wireless, was black and silver. The Keyboard, was black and silver, not sure whether to add a LED with it being wireless, i hate changing batteries. The front of the LiveDrive puchased from Marci - Thank man, it fits a lot better than the Audigy ZS, mmm..which incidentally didnt fit at all. For some reason it looks a lot better in real life. The DVD rewriter (Sony) and the floppy, no idea why i put in a floppy as i have not used one in about 2 years. But hey you never know And the whole lot grouped together. I think the spraying turned out pretty well really, what do you think? Next up, complete green spiral wrap on tagan! i think the wires will turn out to be hidden quite well really. Then i want to add a couple of 3 * manifolds, still not quite sure on this, this will not be a ocerclocked beast, just really a project to see if i can make something a little different from the norm i guess. So splitting the water 3 ways will not be that detrimental (I Hope). Any suggestions? FT
Hehe i wish, just taken to giving up sleep, quite easy really!! **UPDATE** In no particular order really just where i am upto at the mo, finding areas to hide wires Thats it for now, dont seem to be getting anywhere really, but the main is starting to take shape now. Watcha all think then? FT
yes... very nice mod.. i like the green plexi.. looks intresting.. hm.. if you need some help to clear up your room, let me know..
Looking good. I have to say these new pictures do more justice to your paint job on the drives and audio bay.
Warning! Innuendo-ometer off the scale! That case looks a fair bit like how I wanted my first mod to turn out. Instead, I just cut a square window and added some pwiddy lights. Nice!
nice work. i'm slightly lost on how you plan to link the two cases. but i only looked at the pictures. One question. why did you mount the floppy drive off to the side like that?
I love your work mate! Extelent color choises! And those usb ports in the door... very clever my friend Good luck with the rest of the case!
