Well, I think huren summed it up nicely. Green skulls aren't my thing at all and I'd love to have something like that.

Absolutely stunning. Nothing else to say; I'm at a loss for e-words :) You'd better really showcase that thing, not just hide all that amazing work in a drive bay!

I must be losing my mind though, I could have sworn this rig was using Plug and Cool...

I did not plan on doing any custom-paint on the HD cooler, but U-guys handed me the ball--and I am going to run with it........I like the look as well..
    Next UP:
The Innovatek HPPS pump (I had waiting in the wings) will be replaced with an Aqua-Computer AquaStream Rev.3.5 pump and an Aquaero VFD to call the shots......
The AquaStream will be encased 1046 FullMetalJacket..
This BOX is both form & function..It protects your PC from EMI and improves the look of a AquaStream (Eheim1046 pump)..
The problem is that Aqua-Computer used 1943 Wehrmacht PANZER IV paint for the unit:

SO, with the ball still in my hand...MORE SKULL painting COMING SOON..

Great work on the HD cooler :) Have you considered polishing the plate on it?

I haven't glanced in on this log in a while and I'm extremely impressed with the progress you have made. The patient sanding and repainting have really paid off, as has the waxing and polishing. Top notch work.

    Green Skulls

I spent another few hours airbrushing today. The skulls are all-but-complete, they just need a little more work. I could not resist a "look-see" at what I will end up with:
and yes (before someone asks) the Aqua-Computer AquaStreams input shaft will get painted black at a later date..
As for the Aqua-Computer video card cooler, it is said to fit both the Radeon X800 and the X850 (AGP and PCIexpress).
The "man-hours" on this projects paint job are just insane! All this gear (as well as the two green grills and PSU bracket still need clearcoat and polishing)..

Nothing makes my day better than toxic waste green on black. Nice work :D

So what did you do to fill the cracks in the FMJ? I have been debating whether to do some welding or just fill it up with JB Weld, sand, and paint. :sigh:

Yes, very small SkuLLs (they would fit in'a 10mm circle)..They are still not where I want-them..they may never be.. :waah: BUT, I will try to "fixem-up"...

You are talking about the FMJ's construction joints?
I did not do anything.. (that would be above & beyond the call of duty). They are still there. The black paint conceals the joints very well..

Well: The "complete" Aqua-Computer Halloween variant would necessitate "skulling" three more pieces:
The APE120mm Radiator, and the screens for the Aquaero VFD and the AquaStream pump..
HELL::at this point..why not..... :thumb: SOON....

You should have heard the noise I made when I saw those three skulled-up AC bits :jawdrop: Outstanding to say the least. The Aquaero and Aquastream faceplates too? Oh my that's a lotta skulls!
