Hey guys and girls.. My new project is here; Project Stealth. Im fed up of my main rig dominating the room with noise, and want something a little more discrete, but still good looking... So.. I came up with stealth. The case is currently with TTL customs, but should be back soonish, for now, there is only a couple of teaser shots. -To be continued-
oh good.. There will be two of them going in the build, but photographing both would be a little samey.
Very tasty! Going to keep my eye on this one Is that an AC Ryan mesh grill? If so I found mine to be very restrictive on the ol' air flow.
Really? Bummer It doesnt look too restrictive, I guess tests will show Ive got them on all the fans in the case.
Ok, I got the case back from TTL customs today ,and have installed some of the hardware. Im hoping to get the rest in at the weekend... Sorry for the bad pics, Im exhausted
Sorry about that... I didnt have time to get the camera set up properly, my dinner was ready! Ill try and get some more done- Ive just put a Mobo in and it looks GAWJUS!
Ok, some good news, the rig is now complete! My aim was to build a powerful pc, that looked 'standard' from the outside. Having done this build, It is something I wish to carry on through all my builds, as it certainly makes people go 'wow'.. how did you hide that, as you peal off the side panel. Anyway... I bet you all want some pictures, well Ive got together some of my favourite ones from the build process, enjoy. This is my custom fillport holder, which holds the Fillport in a hole I made to the top 120mm fan grill. Its made out of acrylic and holds it in real nice And.. The Finished Rig Still to come: Killer NIC, SSD Drives, Water Cooled Gtx260.. Stay tuned for more updates. Thanks for all the support, and a big thanks to TTL customs for the powdercoating, what a difference it made.
Here are a few more pictures.. Notice the lack of cables Bottom Blanking panel removed in this pic: What do you think? Ill have the 260gtx with me soon, cant wait to get it all plumbed in.
