Hey, don't keep the rest of us out of the loop.
I really want to know how Bitfenix did it without heatshrink and what the pitfalls are.

I would tell everyone, but there's a different forum that me and Waynio go on that's a secret, so I can't...

Haha I couldn't resist waiting for the crimp pins & used the final 8 female pins for an extension lol.

I took the pictures first under my daylight bulb & then with a shade covering the shine & it gives a dramatically different look, looks blingy under direct light & like awesome shoe laces without :).

So thats the CPU & ATX cable done :).

Oh, almost forgot to mention I ordered a 19mm drill bit for installing vandal switches with ease :naughty: I used to drill a 7mm hole & expand it with files but thought I'd look into if drill bits of this size were available & woo hoo they are :D so that should make a nice easy job of installing them :thumb:.

Oooh but I wasted quite a bit getting it to this standard but when I ordered the extra crimp pins I also put an extra 10m of the sleeving & done the same with the black wire from kustompcs but to be honest I'm having doubts I'll have enough to sleeve everything so fingers crossed I will :D, the budget went out the window with this case a bit ago :wallbash::lol:.

I believe I'll have enough to do all the main cables but not so sure I'll have enough to do all the fans, I'm putting a lot of hope in the fact that I will :D.

Wanting to do all the cables to go in the same style of the curve & the fans to go to the bottom where they all get power from an only just visible source under the hdd cages, I did those dual window side panels so I have to go through with making the cable work really nice :duh::lol: but once it's complete should look nice from any angle :thumb:.

Awsome aluwork, you got some serious patience to make that multilayer backplateframe. And those holes you drilled on the backplate..looks like straight out of a machine. Splendid

Thank you GNU I can't believe I ended up getting it functional to be honest I was so on the edge of giving up on that a few times :hehe: I guess the back panel I ended up scrapping gave me the needed practice to pull it off right :thumb:.

@djzic Looks good for your first mate, keep at it & you'll get better with practice as I did & anyone else does :).

    Secret family what now :confused::eyebrow:.

Ahaa just when I thought I'd run out of things to sleeve with the bits I have I thought I'd make a start on the sata power cables, next up is fan sleeving I used nothing but the scrap stuff I have for doing these so I reclaimed all the black wire & put all of it to use & I'll be able to finish these off easily with the waste sleeving & still have plenty for shortish sleeving jobs, I'm now quite confident I'll be able to sleeve everything :).

Only got 1 WIP pic of this bit & it's pretty dark.

Couldn't take this any further as I need the female crimp pins.

Plus I already have the left angle sata cables & they are sata 3 :).

LOL big mistake not buying extra pins, I thought I'd have been ok for this project with what came with the crimping tool, I was quite wrong .

Been using a lighter all the way until I got up to doing those sata power cables, found it wasn't doing a great job so pulled out the heat gun :D I think it was a little bit overkill though :hehe:.

I've never paid attention to uber neat cabling before so hopefully this will proove well worth doing for me :).

Thanks KidMod :) hope I can pull this mod off how I see it in my mind, it's going pretty much to plan so far though & possibly even better than I expected :thumb:, just hope I don't muck up the acrylic curve & still haven't got around to buy a load of clamps, need to keep a reserve bit of money for when MSI give the go ahead for an advanced replacement on the Intel muck up board.

Hi Craig :thumb: I know I should have had more patience on doing the sata sleeving , I'm not saying for definite but I might re-do the sata power cables, I'm sure I could do a better job than what I did :).

Got the package from Nils & from KustomPC but they ran out of black molex wire & spade connectors for the vandal switches so thats on back order.

Just need to find the bunch of ac ryan molex pass through adaptors I have laying around somewhere but in fear of not being able to find them I made an order from America (performance-pcs) as that was the only place I know that sells them now which is odd as they are awesome molex pass through plugs, I chose the ceapest delivery option so might take some time for them to arrive.

The 9 fan splitter cable is perfect for what I have planned with it & it looks to me like it uses MDPC sleeving too which really surprised me.

This shot shows the fan splitter next to MDPC sleeving, I'd say it's the same stuff but for taking a wider load.

A few of the sample pieces I have & the red seems to glow :D I'm already looking forward to doing a multi coloured sleeving job some time in the future :).

Load of female ATX crimp pins & fan crimp pins :).

    Load of fan plugs.

Lian-Li wire kit as I'm sick of not having printed mobo headers for my switches lol & also a psu tester which will be very handy for testing fans/lights but I got this one for using on the stack unit to replace the paper clip I use on it :).

And here is a shot of a very rough idea of what I'll be doing with the fan splitter.

So back I go to finish all the sleeving if possible & I won't do another update on the sleeving until it's complete :D.

I've got those same fan splitters Wayne, I was astounded by their quality when I got them. I also can't wait to use the fan headers I got. Your shrinking isn't crap mate- it's ****! :D
Lol JK, it's actually very good, I thinks it's a very well done job!
