Very nice work Gur_man! Love the matchstick photo, really shows the scale.
IT'S SO STEAMPUNK!!!
Looking good so far!
Love it! Great work there. To me it's a mix of Steampunk meets Bioshock SUB'D
No, may be it looks like a mix of Steampunk and Bioshock but I never played this game.
Continuation:Have made a blowhole from some aluminium cover.
The center was then cut out and the paint cleaned off
After cleaning I have painted it's back side.
Then made the blowhole fixators and put everything together:
Afterwards, I have varnished it. (Four layers)
FREAK'n Awesome! Copper + work is beautiful!
Did you copper plate those screws? Or are they actually just brass screws to begin with?
These are just brass screw-bolts. I polished them with a drill.
Now about the reservoir;
As I said, aluminium will not have contact with water.
these two pipes were soldered together
(Air out valve)
Have sealed all with the sealant and epoxy glue.
Then I found the water thermometer and set it into the reservoir.
Have made the lattice and varnished it.
The reservoir was painted and varnished two.
thats to cool for school...
love it, kind of looks like those old lamps in basements.
What an awesome build! I look forward to seeing the rest of it!
That's really a nice looking reservoir, and the blowhole is hot. Mod on.
Holy crap man, I really like the work you are doing!
Absolutely awesome! Your build is getting better with each new update. I'm really enjoying your work.
This is a really fun build so far. Especially looking at where the case started!
I really like the leather trim on the radiator. Reminds me of a couch my parents had in the 80's.
Now your freaking me out! + + +
