Scratch Build – In Progress PROJECT Super Ninja MAJOR UPDATE :D

Hi Guys, I am not good with sketchup so bear with this.

Right so basically I want to have ninja cable tidying, and watercooling, I intend to use TECs and have a visible water storage thing which's name I forget, It is to be quiet and deadly and on a tight budget but I have all the machines i need like cnc's and dremels, red black and aluminium with a possible few chrome fittings, I am on a shoe string budget but so far I have got the aluminium for the frame so hold on for more updates. I am TOYING with the idea of internal speakers wrapped in mu-metal to prevent magnetic waves killing it, this is all about neat and clean, almost like pure. G2G guys but should be putting the frame together soon Also will have a Ninja logo engraved in a few places (got a laser cutter) but good luck designing that in google sketchup :L

Thanks, now for an update, I have found an old case to use for most the case so I have stripped down all the panels so its a shell, also thinking about layered aluminium, upload pics tmmrw

 

Right, the old case stripped down, now to find some old spray cans, just about to take some photos

 

Went to drill out the last few rivets but DRILLS BROKEN Borrowing one wither tommorow or on wednesday, if anyone has some parts I can have for this it would be great not got any computer parts

Added fan and Psu slot

And now for a major thing to set me away from the crowd, That weird window thing will have some liquid bled through it in that weird pattern you get when water runs through 2 sheets of glass, as thins is a large case I could have the motherboard halfway across and back the water window lined with aluminium instead of glass and have aluminium strips off it acting as a radiator, it would still keep the bleeding effect if i keep it completely flat on.

I think it's actually meant to be there.

Maybe it's just me but i find this model quite complicated. All the windows, top rad or what is it, that red thing (probably res), internal speakers, aluminum, knobs, holes etc. It has only 4 expansion slots, what hw are you going to use?
And do you have some photos of your old case?
Anyway, good luck with that.

 

I see what you mean, I said playing with the idea of internal pictures plus probably will be 7 expansion card slots, I am not good with sketchup and it will be bigger than it looks, upload pictures on wednesday

 

Oh and yes it is the radiator

sketchup skills are ok, aslong as you get a basic layout to start manufacturing, its all you need.

Right confirmed drill coming tommorow, hopefully square cut aluminium bars aswell, also got card for camera so I can upload pics aswell tommorow

 

Also I have found out "super ninja" in Japanese so might engrave on side might be sexy
