Agreed, strip looks good, but I wouldn't mind seeing it polished either. Should look very nice in contrast to the brushed alu.

Nice addition of the PPU and the waterblock over it, is it a specialsed PPU waterblock or jsut a GPU one used as a PPU cooler, and where did you buy it?

In a few months that PPU will be well worth it as more games are enabled to take advantage of it...

Been having family probs recently hense the project went dorment for a while but iv got a lot of free time now. so i dug out the log and carryed on with the pc today :)

The main job was the pump mounts. the original plan i had was for them both to be mounted verticaly and attached to the bottem removable rack. i gave up on this idea after a few hours of head scratching this morning, if i was to proceed with that idea it would have left one pump with air in the chamber, and cause they would be mounted to the bottem rack it would stop it being removable.

So heres what i came up with that seemed to solve both problems. having the pumps horizontal and keeping the bottem rack removable

The pumps were fixed together with 3mm threaded rod and waterproof epoxy which made a superior join

The were then mounted on antivibration washers and and bracket that bolted into the slide rails of the case. allowing the pumps to be both horizontal which solved the air bubble problem and also allowed the bottem rack to remain completly removable.

I have ordered some more parts to carry on the project but at the moment the pc is running in a semi state and will be worked around but heres a current ghetto pic

I love the way the pumps are mounted, but it would look better if you can put some more details in that mod, making it more unique, not only "regular good looking" wc setup.I would suggest you putting uv blue or clear plexi under the pumps and leds, making them glow :baby: that would be awesome!

    You know your job,good luck!

    Take your time mate.
I was expecting to see very clean white/blue theme mod,not yellow :duh:
But after all i would certainly love to see some deep, faintly orange theme with a lot of orange plexi and white,uv leds powering it.Keep all the other lights down and let the plexi to glow faintly in the dark. After i see you finish the case i'll grab one SX-1 myself and i hope i'll have the inspiration to make it up good.
