    Parts manufacturing continues.

In these photos we will see:

Creating the panel for the 2 Poweradjust housing (in the second photo you can see where it will be located).

Realization of the I / O front panel with relative editing of the original faceplate for the custom button housing.

In the photos, the fabrication, adaptation and positioning of the panel.

    Stay tuned.

New manufacturing step of the parts.

In these photos we will see:

Mounting the supports for fixing the cover on the front.

Test placement of the support for fixing the front cover, which has been completely revised and reconstructed in 1 cm plexy.

Testing position of the cover for the exaust fan on the back of the case.

Top and front cover construction steps (also the top cover has been fully revised and reconstructed in 1 cm plexy).

Complete test pre-selection of the above mentioned fans and covers.

    Stay tuned.

Well, and to finish the first part of the worklog I'll leave you with a nice thing.

The dragon of the MSI logo (later we will see where it will be mounted, and will not be the only one)

The dragon is made of 1.5 mm thick metal and not of soft aluminum.

After making the necessary stencil to the computer, the dragon was made with the Dremel Motosaw.

The finish was completely handmade with the mini lime.

I leave the links of the videos that have been made so far, for a brief summary to be seen in sequence if you like it.

    Worklog parte 1:

    Worklog parte 2:

    Worklog parte 3:

    Stay tuned.

Let's get back from where we were left.

In these photos we will see the realization of the last pieces, and we will see the table with all finishing pieces and prepared for the painting that will be the next step.

    1) Creating the internal rad grid of 360 on the front.

    2) Changing the original cover (I / O panel) for the backlight of the cover that will be overlaid.

    3) All parts ready for painting.

    Stay tuned.

    Well. Let's go ahead.

In these photos we will see the creation of stencils with cutting plotter after design with computerized software.

We will see some stencils applied to some parts to see the procedure.

We will also see some parts to which the primer has been applied and 2 coats of opaque black covering, then we will see the various painting steps and finished parts.

If you like, take a look at this short video, where you can see the various software screens during stencil design.

Below the link to the video.

NB: Backplate stencils originally designed for 980 TI but will not be the video cards ....

    Stay tuned.

    First painting step.

    Let's start with the case.

After having completely sanded with abrasive paper (first with a grain of 220 then 600) 6 faces of opaque white and two opaque transparent finishing were applied.

    This is the result.

    Stay tuned.

And here are the first painted parts of white (there are still many pieces to see) but the procedure to see them finished is still long.

In these phases there is no margin of error, it is worth doing everything ....

    Stay tuned.

    Very well.

At this point it is time to take the airbrush in hand.

Before aerating the surfaces, the surfaces are again opaque.

At the end of the airbrushs all parts must be given the matt transparent finish (3 hands given at specific times).

If you like to take a look, I leave the link to this video where there is the sequencing of parts painting and while performing a part of the live airbrush.

    Worklog part 4

    Stay tuned.

Last step in the painting and aerography of the last pieces.

In these photos we will see:

The video card backplates (as I had anticipated long ago, will not be the 980 Ti but the 1080, running gear)

    5.25 magazine side bay cover.

    Cover sli bridge.

    Cover SSD.

    Cover PSU.

In the next step, the final assembly begins!

    Stay tuned.

    First fittings and first tubes.

In these photos we will see the connection of the res combo EK (loop cpu) to the funnel passages for the passage from the opposite side of the midplate.

We will also see the mounting of the MB and the fitting of the fittings and tubes to the monoblock, for the passage (always through passage fittings) on the opposite side of the midplate.

    Stay tuned.
