Looks nice, should come out very clean. About the switch...I have seen several computer modding sites that have them premade and ready for wiring, but I don't remember the name...perhaps a Google search will reveal some answers.

Yea I think it'll look really good :thumb: . I'd do it myself but I think it's pretty complicated for me on my first mod.

i saw a hard drive switch, can't remember where. if you wanna make your own, put both drives on the same channel and set them to cable select. the one i saw had a molex go into it and split. the key chose which drive the power went to.

 Just a thought, dunno if you'll like the idea, but... you mentioned keyswitches, correct? I have grown up with the horror of keylock headers mounted on big beige boxes, and I was thinking that to avoid evoking that kind of "keylock-ish" look, you should use those covered keyswitches. I think Zapwizard used one on his "Advanced Ammo PC" to shut off the mouse and keyboard USB ports. (Yes, I have been lurking here reading for a year and finally registered. ) I'm too lazy to dig up a link, but I think a lot of people should know what I'm saying. :dremel: Mod on, man.

I agree with sparrowhawk in that a covered keyswitch would look neater.

With this lock where would you connect the wires which normally go to the power switch to?

    Lookin' great up to now!

'Spose now i have no excuse to not do something to my Maplins CrapTower. Only flaw i can think of with that case is, it doesn't like FULL ATX MoBos such as an Asus A7N8X Deluxe or an NF7-S.

Don't worry... giving my 56k a good raping on some of the longer threads has given me some patience. (~cough~ Bit Tech Babe Thread. ) Anyway, I look forward to seeing whats happened so far. :D
