Hey guys.. thanks for the complients.

As for the rockets.. just using model rockets, and ammo I am using m60 Dummy Ammo belts :)

Shh.. already have plans for a sapper to go w/ the case :) I need to finish another project first, then I will do the sapper. Sapper = External CD Drive :D

    Post 4 - Finishing Up.

From the last post, we had majority of the Dispenser completed. Now we are going to finish it off.

Currently the monitor seems very detached from the case mod. I wanted the display to appear integrated with the frame. To accomplish this task, I cut a piece of plexi as large as the opening, and then use a scroll saw to cut a window

After the window was cut, I primed and painted it blue to match the dispenser.

On the in-game Dispenser, there are knobs in the middle. I quickly recreated this look with a piece of plexi painted black, a wooden dowel, 4 bottle caps, and 4 CD Label hubs.

I then use a step drill and drill press to make the holes the proper size for the wooden dowel

Here is a picture of the dry fitting for the wooden dowel and caps. They dowels and caps were painted later to match the color theme.

For the ammo belt, I used the same size rounds as the sentry.

To attach the ammo belt to the case, I cut a rectangular hole and secured it with a nut and bolt. The clamp for the ammo belt at the bottom was with made by bending a piece of plexi with a heat gun.

After all the parts were painted, it was time to apply the vinyl decals. I really have to thank AgentArt from AgentArtDesigns.com for getting me these images. Also special thanks for Mark at LiquidStickerDesigns (www.ILoveLSD.com) for cutting these for me. Here is a pictures of the decals

Here is a pic of decal applied. It looks soo sweet!!

    Completed Dispenser

    Hey Folks.

On the last post, the case was going through the final assembly and finishing touches. I wanted to share with everyone pics of the completed dispenser. So check them out below:

Here is a pic of the Dispenser and the tank.

Here is a pic of the Dispenser and the ammo belt. To keep it consistent w/ the Sentry, I use the same .308 caliber ammo belt.

Here is a close up of the bottom drawer and the decals:

Close up of the tank. I will be adding the black arrow a little later on the gague face.

Here is a pic of the bottom drawer open. I will be building some spare rockets and such to put in the drawer.

To make it true to the game, AgentArt got me a nice screen cap of the in-game Dispenser screen to use as a wall paper :)

I hope everyone enjoyed this dispenser mod, as much as I did.

I will get the remainder of the Sentry Turret mod up shortly.

Feel free to post any comments or questions.
