:thumb: Great case, great setup, very nice furniture. :thumb:

:eyebrow: Not so nice cable mess around your work place. :eyebrow:

I know that pictures tend to make everything 2D and in 3D (IRL) the cables do not get noticed (as much), but may I suggest that your next modding project has something to do with cable management around your desk etc.

I am thinking some silver plastic tubes or something like that. In the hardware stores in Denmark you can get plastic pipes for plumbing and drains in many different sizes and lengths. Paint them silver like the frame of you desk, and add a slit in the full length of the pipe, so its easy to get wires in and out.

Maybe those power sockets could be assembled in somthing like this (minus the wooden lid)
Or one more of those black bins like you recycle bin on the floor.

I think cable management would be a great addition to an otherwise very, very nice works space.

yeah, I was about to get started on the cable managment :D

I've got a 15 inch no color screen that I am going to add to my setup, with my thirth pc ( PT2 256MB ). This will become my multimedia pc to play livestreams, mp3's, .....

The PT2 will be modded to, but more about that in a new thread :cooldude:

    Yes....

Ya, I was wondering that myself. How would you do that? I want to mod my case soon, and I would like to include that into my mod.

BTW- Your case is totally hot!!!

i've been watching this mod and today i decided to post.i gotta say its  :thumb: If you want comments, maybe buy and install some shielded speakers in the box, like to compliment the flames and the solitary fan ^^ that'd be mighty sweet to have it nearly self sufficient, just plug in mouse, keyboard, and monitor.just my 2p though, good job, and lets see some updates, got anything in mind?

    desk clean up

    Heyhow,

Finally got to the point of actual posting a pic of my unmessy wire desk :naughty:

I used 4m of cable box things stuff  don't know how to call it in english. It are the things screwed on my wall near the floor.
I've put the cables of my monitor in a large tube down to the powerhub.
All the other cables I ordened with straps around my desk.

It's a lot cleaner with minimum cost.

At the moment I'm already working on my new project NW-01.

    looks sweet :thumb:

Nice Mod, I think the placement of the power cable is kind of wierd though, just my 2c but I think it would look better at the back hidden or else do something cool with the power cable, like change it for one which is clear except for the wire and pins or somehting like that.

THX 4 the reply's

How did I include that keyswitch. Very simple.
I used it to interrupt the cable that runs from the start key to the mobo.

In off position it is impossible to start the pc, unless you hotwire it of course :hehe:

All the rest of the wiring is just basic stuff.
