Haha awesome use of materials man. I would suggest to try and close the iris a bit more as somebody mentioned before. Good thing is that aluminium foil doesn't attract heat that much, but are you going to keep the eyes on 24/7 or not? Keep it up OT: The Action store is amazing for all kind of stuff, we actually bought a remote control to put our lights on and off in the house so we don't have to run around and turn them on haha ^_^
That would be pretty cool a remote controlled rig, that can be turned on or off from a distance and the leds on the rig too... i don't see where you would fit the circuits on that teensy skeleton though lol, but some people might want to try that out in their mods.....
Man that is one impressive mod, especially with the Antec Skeleton case. Only niggle, and it's a small thing. The skull and the picture you mentioned as a T-1000 is a T-800. T-1000 is a liquid metal one. Pedantic I know. Looking forward to the next update.
Awsome project mate, interesting to see how it all comes together And that heatsink is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!!
Um, actually, isn't the Terminator model that Arnold portrays a model 101? Or is that just the designation when created as an infiltrator?
And youre wish is my command........ More work on the skull. Made a drawing of the jaw-actuators. Played around with some chrome and stainlessteel connectionparts. And here it will fit against the jawline. And then on both sides Here the skull will fit on the case. Made a connection plate drawing. Hammered it from a piece of aluminium plate. And here the skull will sit together with two (fake) dampers.
I think the chrome paint (Praxis, or even better try the brand Montana) would give a nicer effect than the silver-tape. A more even finnish, which will be easier to "weather" with your airbrush...
