hehe yeah . the size was more for the cool loo than for performance but due to the shape and size and design it also serves a function . if i dont hook up the water block ( ie testing the res and rad for leaks )the flow from the L30 pump is strong enough that ou can see the water movement which has quite a bit of force behind it.
granted once i get the S.S.C. mounted it will increase tube length . also i will add a NB and vid card hydra when they become availible wich will reduce flow. the line down the center of the res has a flat acrylic plate so that the water dont flow in a complete vortex( yes it looks kool but it seriously reduces suction to the pump)

this is a 3 speed switch that comes with a lian li case . notice i ground out a small section tha i will glue a UV led to and power off one ofth 2 fan headers that will controll the 2x 5cm fans i will have cooling the hard drives .

these heatsinks will be mounted on the router .

the bolts here are for my silver cascade mounting but since i dont like wing nuts i got something that will look a little better ( wing nuts are easyer to gauge how many turns though )

i wont be making them for sale because it costs way to much. i have enough materials that i only need to buy 2 parts costing about 35 dollars and i can make a smaller version for 1 person but it will still be very expencive and most of the cost would be shipping. much better to just skip the shipping and make one your self really

it only cools the sensor down, doesn't actually reduce the CPU temp.
    nice mod tho :)

this is not true. you drop cpu temps by about 1 - 1.5c with good air flow as seen by spectralthermagraph ( yes its nice to work at the technical research center ;))

the thing is that you wont notice any real results untill the hotter stages of activity and it takes a while for the pcb around the area and under the socket to get to temp to where it starts disipating at a measureable temp so unless you are folding for very long times yu will probly not see any improvement .

they are actualy anodized red aluminum thumb screws for lian li cases. the large kanji acrylic sheet is held on by hex bolts that are black. i designed the system to use as many of the lian li size threads as possible
