hehe thanks. the one thing i forgot was the little door flap that hides the front usb.
im thinking since i wont be able to match it up ill just leave the little flap off and leave the 2 usb jacks exposed (the usb jack mounts are black too so it shouldnt be a rpoblem).
now the big problem is it will be raining and typhooning all week so i cant do some of my planned finishing touches this week like painting the front part of the psu ( was gonna keep it shiny but only if the clear coat is perfect)

either friday or monday i have to ride the bus to work and actualy carry this case on the buss so i can show students hehe. i bet ill get some funny looks :dremel:

I realised why you call it "Beast" after I saw the Kanji.

Hmm..but the Kanji is actually "Dragon" right?

Anyway, nice work! Love the res and the glossy paint!

correct . the kanji is an older form of dragon used in japan and possibly in china but does not share the roots with the other version of the chinese kanji .
it has 2 pronunciations here ryu and ron. the beast is like dragons re the biggest beasts or predators .

    HAHAH about the pants!

WOW, thats some sweet work. That power strip at the back does kill it some and that floppy bay looks out of place. The Lian Li badge also kills it a bit but its VERY SWWEEEEET!

remember the powerstrip is detachable and can be configured 8 diferent ways so its not so visible on either side of the case.

as for the floppy i am using a nf7-srev2.0 board whichrequires a floppy to do the raid controller feature of the sata drives and there is no way around it even with slipstreaming a cd

but when the whole system is together it will still look good.

The flame effect around the bottom of the case looks great! As for the power strip, can you not paint it black like the rest of the case?
