Great! lot of awesomeness in this thread!
oak... that`s awesome, man!!! what color are you going to paint the wood?
Oww! that looks sick bro!
Looks wonderful and I like the large wood writing/work area.
Interest you in a black stain nudge, nudge would look great with the inner workings, and still show the grain
Looks very classy Are you going to paint/varnish it in such a way as to still be able to see the grain of the wood?
+ Rep. Looks fantastic, and very professional. I can't wait to see it completed.
Looks great! skills with the wood as well, what next?
Thanks for the compliment kelmannen.
Thanks Shurika and i think im gonna use varnish.

Thanks craig. I was thinking to varnish the top but after reading your sugestion i looked it up and idd that looks great to but now i cant decide wich one i should take.
Thanks Archer. Yes im gonna paint the top and i want to keep the grain of the wood.

Maaan i wish i had skills with wood AND metal... Looks damn awesome keep it up!
Superb work Paslis, your welds are just insanely awesome, as good as it gets I think & I had no idea you was adding a wooden worktop area & it's a very nice addition mate, the quality of this desk is absolutely top notch, desks don't come any better than this.
Thanks xtoxm and i will keep it up.
Thanks for the compliments Waynio and adding the wooden top made it look more classic.
This weekend i did some modding again.First i started with cutting out the hole for the panel column and then sanded the top.
First i draw the hole.
Then i cut it out whit a jigsaw and sanded the hole.
Time to fit the top.
Fits like a glove so time to sand and degrease the top.
The top im gonna paint with bootslak its paint for boats and its abrasion resistant .
Put on the first layer.I can repaint it after 24 hours
I want to put on 3 layers a side so its gonna take some time.Mean while im drawning some parts im needing for the inside of the desk.
More to come.
Thanks to my sponsors :
going to look like a wood mirror! love the boatlaquer, if it's as the ones i think of it'll be really shiny!
Thanks kelmannen and yes its gonna shine like a mirror.
