its all good now, and looks like u got some new toys, nice electronics skills, i'm not as good with my multi and burned a 2x dvd rom, its old, who cares
it wasn't a messup solder, i did that well, i just got the wrong leads cause i guess i didn't know wtf i was doing with my multi, anyway, the led wouldn't turn on, and i was angry cause i had done bad in class that day, to i took it ouside and melted the top with a torch for fun, and ended up smashing the rest with a hammer, it felt good ^^
Ahh Pays to check twice I'm a bit dissapointed that the feed for the activity LED was only 2.5 V as the leds not as bright as i'd like, still. SHould be visable enough.
i gotta get better, i'm getting alot of leds for my next mods ^^ found a deal only 25 tri color leds for a buck
That would be me Send me an email dude, see if we can get something that will work for you Nice project by the way

Well, some good and bad news. The good. I've decided on the system for it. At this point in time its likly i'll be getting a DFI NF4 Ultra D/DR motherboard. I thought about SLI but my budget doesnt quite reach that far. Paring up with the DFI will be a Winchester 3200+ and X800 XL when they are realsed and reach NZ. Two 80gb HDs (May change) and my current Geil Ram. The week point will be the ram and i'll try and get some TCCD but its near imposiable to find in NZ. The bad It is higly recomended with the DFI NF4 to use a 24 pin psu, and not a 20 to 24 pin adapter. It also recomends atleast 24 Amps on the 12v line. My current psu won't meet either of these criteria... So a liitle problem have we. The solution i've come up with it to buy one of these Its a 480 Watt Noisetaker Enermax. It is 24 pin ATX 2.0 COmplient and has over 30Amps on the 12v Line. The main reason I chose it is that it has the same casing and design. So i'm hoping that i'll be able to straight swap this and the current psu. I'll then resell the old one to recover some of the costs. A bit of a set back but could be worse - Xoddoza
