You can make a 'rebate/lip' by adding moulding to the edge so it is only half the width of the edge it is being applied too, Voila!! one rebate/lip to mount the plexi in then fix with glue, filler, small strip of wood, even a bracket as u've already mentioned etc...

    hth

right. I'm back from my vacation now and have started spraying the thing black. if only the weather holds up. the forecast shows cloudy with some rain and some sunshine.. in other words they dont know wtf is going to happen in the next few days!

unfortunately I wont be able to take any pictures until next weekend cuz my mother decided she wanted to have the digicamera with her on our cabin in the mountains :wallbash: So picture update will probably be next weekend if she remembers to bring the camera back home

Stigma: Yes, that LCD is from hammar.no

This is going to be one fantastic custom case. I'm gald to see you decide to scratch build the case. I love the shape and the cutouts.

Is it possible to use the other half of the fan grill on the inside or will that impinge on the PCI slots and Mobo?

Unless I have missed it (and I probably have :wallbash: ) you havent mentioned how you intend to access the inside of the case or how you intend to manage the cables.

If you are getting to that bit feel free to tell me to STFU..
