No matter how many fans you'll be taking in the end. Or how many pumps. Or whatever... I'll be watching this, gonna be great.

Im astounded that this is all running so well on a single 120mm rad.

    3500+, 2x 6800gt, 2 pumps, chipset <<< all of a thermochill 120.1 and its doing fine :D

I guess these pictures are idle temps, aren't they?
What are load temps though? I mean, ~50°C?... Kinda hot, ain't it?

not really, for 6800's thats pretty cold

dont forget, graphics cards make alot more heat than processors do, especially nvidia's!

I've got mine 2 x BFG 6800gt's @ 470/1080 in SLI on the same loop with my FX55 in the same case U2-UFO and my temps are more like 28c on card0 and 30c on card1 from cold boot but after sitting idle for a couple of hours the are about 30 to 32c on full load they would be only going to 40c max 42c really pushing for a long time ..
But the big diffence is that im using a BIX3 your just using 1 x120mm rad and you have your chipset on the loop and i know how hot the chipset is ...
which waterblocks are you using ????

cant wait to see this baby being built you have me hooked keep up the great work

waste of money and will ruin the look of the case, he's fine with the watercooling :) will look neat and tidy and keep it chilly enuf. You don't have too have Sub-zero cooling too get a nice overclock out of your system.

*can't wait too strip that baby down* :) hehe bring it over :p

and a lot of people go with watercooling for the quietness, not something easily achieved with a compressor cranking away the whole time.

Right well iv come along a bit. the system is up and running in a ghetto state. i had to get a load of college work off. which i dint realise i still needed.

    still need to :-

    braid loads of wires
    Fit second antivandel.
kit it out with proper fans
    Choise some grills.
    uvness.
scap the fan controler thats in it , and slap in a nexus
polish it all up (holds every finger print)
plub it all up properly :)
Slap in a acrylic mobo tray
Put it on my floor :p

Here are some pics at the moment.
    In its ghetto state.

    Pump plate i made. ^^

    pumps again

    them mounted in the case.

Zoomed out mounting (do excuse all the crap on the floor)

Front with some random fans and a Annoying fan controler that dosent work right. (it turns the channels off that dont have signal cables. which is most of the fans lol)

Test with some uv cathodes. :D

As i said its in a rather ghetto state. as i cant realy fit it up properly
untill my supplies arrive on wednesday

    Sc4mpi out...

Right before i order some more fittings and tubing im tied for choice.

Dual loops was the main plan its fitting but i still have a growing fear of one of them stopping and its all going to overheat again :(

So iv been thinking of making it all into one big loop but using both the pumps 1, for more flow
    2. for redundency

im not 100% up with using series vs parallel . I,e what would be better when thinking of the pumps.

so the choices i have are

    1. keep the dual loops. and hope and pray they dont fail.
    2. one BIG single loop. with the 2 pumps in series straight after each other
    3. one BIG single loop. with the 2 pumps in parallel
    4. one BIG single loop. with the 2 pumps at either ends of the loop.

Im puzzel they all hold there own pros and cons.

    advice plz. :)

id go for redundancy for sure, have the pumps in parralel, so in theory your just increasing pressure and not flow rates, so IF the other pump goes youve still got the same flow rate, just less pressure.

    hope that makes sense

I don't see why you should not go for two loops. Most watercooled systems run on one pump. I see more advantages from two seperate loops. There are lots of ways to keep the system from overheating in case of a pumpfailure. I measure flowrates, airtemps and watertemps and if something is seriously wrong the system shuts down automaticly.
