The cooler for the Raptor X needs a good vibration uncoupling.

Here I position the uncupling-rubber,with dobbleside grubscrew.

The holes for the screw, to fasten the HDD.

I hadn´t the time to finsh the polish, I´ll do that later.
Later I´ll fasten a lining of brushed alu-sheet metal ,on the sides.

On the top of the(under the plexiglasses) HDD I create something for a good light effect.

I think the bent is a little to high.
So I heated it up with a hot air dryer to make it a little smoother and pulled it a bit larger and deeper.

    The result.

Now I fastened the plexiglasses ,then fastened the mirror-plexiglass on the front and behind the HDD, the lining at the sides under the HDD cooler.

just ... wow... i cant imagine the amount of time, money and effort this must have taken; at what stage of completion are you now?

traurig weiß ich sehr deutsches wenig und kann nicht artikulieren, wieviel Inspiration du mir gegeben hast. die große Arbeit aufrechterhalten!

(google translation sucks like a vax!)

    Sorry for doubble-posting.

    and it continues

The ovals Plexiglasses is now finish. But I white also not yet whether I it to really use is.
A alternatieve would be also, over the HDD an aluminum plate to make those exactly parallel the same Window has as the Raptor X. Naturally also again polishes;)

If is finished, I make pictures with all variations, then can write it your opinion in addition.

So, now to the actual part. roofridge of 3 pictures to the position and mechanical function of the whole.

A Link http://www.myvideo.de/watch/522057 to MyVideo, provided an assembly presentation video. With current function of the HDD of radiator.

At the HDD Cooler is of course again some new finished, but I want still fine-work there to make

That fan controller is readily available in the UK from Maplin (order code A23FH ), but they want 30 pounds for it. :duh:
