I'd be scared to put it on a glass tabletop. Perhaps he has plans to distribute the load across whatever surface he chooses for the case's final resting place.

A lot of things used in case mods are normally "reserved" for other things. Look at modsquad's project, its half way to becoming a motorcycle and is sweet. I think the spikes look awesome, good job :thumb:

    Update 6/3 - 07

Ye'allo boys and girls! Time for a new update! :)

First off, I saw out a cover of aluminum for the back of the case. I will later on make holes for graphicscard.

I've got a bit unsure with if I'm going to use the baytank. So I made a swiftech minires out of cardbord. It could fit here, but it will be tight. Any opinions about this?

If so, the plan is to mount a fillport up in the middle of the case, and connect it to the swiftech res.

I dumped the original startbutton and got my hands on a chromed button. It is actually a doorbell button. But I believe it is quite nice :)

Polished the sunbeam fancontroller. or should we say "Fun-controller" :D
Yep, got a bit blurry at the corner. But I'll fix that, don't worry folks! :)

Since my tube of autosol got empty, i thought it was time to try something new out. Earlier i got a tip from darkened about this product, and, i can say that it is much nicer than autosol. Smaller grains = better finnish = happy NysoO :D

Great job! I love the front panel as it's pretty much exactly like the one I planned for my last case (never finished though). white leds and aluminum just match perfectly together.

Damn I wasn't really expecting this to become something very nice but you've definitely surpassed my expectations. Nice one!
I think you should make a small grill in the front to allow the fan to pull in air better. How about an update?

wow those CCFL's are impressive. I was thinking of using some like that for my case. If you put pads on the bottom of your feet will you do some LED work on those??

Saxman: The only pad that I'll use for the spikes is some in metall, that matches the spikes, so I wont be able to do any led-work there. But, i think ill put two of the CC's under the case.

    Update 13/5- 07

I have sprayed a clear-coat on the chassi and tried some new mounting-positions of the watercooling.

    Sleeved the start-button
    [IMG]

Can you see the clearcoat mirror?

It almost melts into the surroundings :p
    [IMG]

The new pump made it possible for me to mount everything internally, which also will take away the problem with the upside - down mounted rad.

Have been trying some loops, any suggestions?

    Update 16/6 - 07

ZZup, the project is actually starting to run to the end. Most of the design and modification is done. But this is todays update.

Got some critics on how the front fan would get air, so sawed out a hole in the front door and put on some c-strip. In the same time I painted the inside of the door black.

From the beginning I was thinking about mounting the rad on the outside, therefor I got a ugly hole for the radiatorhose. So, made a aluplate that i mounted with insexscrews.

    New angle :)

    Shine
    [IMG]

Pictures really can't give the real-life experience. The clearcoat and the polish
    doesn't have its real depth.

The things that are left to do.
Hole on the top for the fillport.
Soldering on a 4-pin molex for the frontdoor leds.
Mounting the glass in the sidedoor.
Make holes for the sidedoor thumbscrews.

I really really like your front door idea, very well executed.
