Hello, This will be my second project here blah blah the old one sucks but trust me on this one I am going to be making my own case and i got the name X-Ray Because I'm Going to be making the case out of some sort of clear stuff not sure what yet and I'm going to be tinting it so you can only see partly though it, i am going to hopefully start this project mid summer but now for the hard part planing i was thinking of some ideas but i cant really show them to you i suck at cad i can do the in adobe photoshop tho i may be able to draw some up tonight and maybe find out where i need to get the stuff from the rods and stuff for the case. I really hope that i do not rush though this project like i did with my other project because i ended up breaking stuff and that was not cool. so basically I'm gonna take and build the case and all fairly slow i also got my messy shop and room all cleaned up so now more room to work Heres a list of stuff that i plan to do: Custom Build And Machine The Case. Water Cooling All Custom Machined Grills I will add more to this later Side Panel: Cheers
ummmmmm this part of the forum is for mods that have allready started with progress i think this should be in the normal modding section.
well im starting right now im doing all that planing thats what im gonna be doing for a while Im in photshop right now lol added the side panel
read the stickie, your not supposed to post till you have serious headway. You should post this in another forum, not this just yet. i mean, i don't think you even have the parts yet so yeah. sounds cool though, just waaayyy premature.
i can find at least 5 topics without pictures in the first post or with just photoshop pics or nothing
yer but quite a lot of those(like mine) have a post with actuall progress that was posted at the same time.
Anyways, what size acrilic are you going to use? and how are you planning to tint it? i would recomend buying some pre-colored,http://www.estreetplastics.com/Grey_Smoke_Plexiglass_2064_s/80.htm that is what you want?!? this project is going to be sick... at least have an idea or sketchup before you post
Same here, have you tried other CAD software like Pro Desktop? Its more engineering orientated so doesn't produce such pretty results as Sketchup but i find it easier to use.
