tough to tell about noise...I plugged them in while they sat on my desk and I couldn't discern any noise. but I would imagine that's cause there's nothing around them...

wobbling? maybe a smidgen...not much though.

mocking up the front bezel with the switches and leds...will have pics shortly. I'm test fitting everything now because I need to make some cuts in the frame before I paint. I plan to do that this weekend.

Wow, don't know how I missed this one, it looks really great so far. I really like the top cutout and the interior paint job, top notch. :thumb:

    Looks really cool man...

Was just wondering about one thing. It might be just me, but it looks as it you put the motherboard side panel on the other side of the case. Maybe I forgot to read something though....

I'm loving the flame cutouts and that fan hole

What are you doing about the psu? Surely you're not leaving it grey!
It needs a nice coat of red or black to match :D

Also, what are your plans for the drive faces? Are you just going to paint them to match?

the PSU I am probably going to leave for now. I kinda like the way it sticks out for what it is -- a power supply.

the front bezel was 2 coats of clear away from completion until the cats knocked it on the basement floor. oh, the horror. I have to sand it back down to primer and start over. nothing broke, just lots of chips and scuffs.

the top was a labor of love, thats for sure, but even then I had to take breaks from working on it. came out great though. lots of cutting, filing, sanding. lots of paint. it's tough to tell now cause I haven't polished it up, but it really does have a wet look to it. clearcoat helps this, it gives the shine some depth.

the recessed blowhole was made to kind of carry over the recessed intake theme. I took a 120mm fan shroud, JB Welded it to the back of the top panel, and then epoxied some scrap tubing I used for the front intake to add some more depth for the hole. To mount the actual fan, I just used a couple nuts and bolts to attach it to the JB Welded shroud. Sandwiched the fan grill in between.
