I've added the legendary mesh behind the front fan (black painted) with little cahoutchouc joint to prevent vibrations.

Here are the power led - DD led and DVD led.
They go through the front and light the little orange plexi under the alu (where "remove" is painted on) - don't if it's very clear :D

    dvd led:

In this last pic the door is half open and show the contrast between the bleu - door open - and the cool orange - door close -

Wow, everyday I find another mod on here that blows me away. I'm amazed, man, great job.

I absolutely love the colour scheme, and I usually hate orange

I've added a little green plexi to smooth the small lcd "40".

    Worked on the feet !!

with an orange led glued in the middle of the plexi

by night ... (looks like a mouse pad)

The idea is to use a 17" monitor foot.
(here with a little black paint just to give me an idea of the final look :) )

    the foot was to large....

    hummm that's better
    [IMG]

    first tests ... ok
    [IMG]

The foot is screwed to the box (look at my shiny HDD) :cooldude:

This gets more unique by the update. The LED "40" looks great and is really noticible through all of the orange, the bit of green acrylic really helps I think. Congrats to you for doing such excellent work!

The Monitor stand idea is a keeper! I always thought that we did not pay enough attention to how the feet of a pc looked(with a few exceptions out there). Lighted feet just don't do it for me. But a lighted monitor stand mounted to the pc - that rocks.

You know, I got a few of those in my company bone yard, many with speakers and usb built in - that's giving me a few ideas...

Great job on the mod.
