ok , i'm on the road again - this time - IT'S FOR ME !! I've destroyed my own , old pc in order to make him a little... lifting - 1st pic is the original case. - now the case before i drank a bottle of vodka/cola..... she's in the mod gallery of twistedforum .... http://twistedforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10743 - the case after i drank a bottle of vodka/cola and decided to re-do all ... here it's where "i do my pork butcher" and break the front plexi - it was 2 years ago - that's why the plexi was behind the steel sheet and not in front of ....the front. - 1st test on the top - with the rest of this "so famous mesh" lol - i've decided to take the boring rectangle plexi to do something new i 've cut an old side door and sanded it.. - and the work on the future grill of the future side panel i'm now thinking of the future cut...
Damn, looking good Love the top with mesh. But won't there be a lot of dust getting down to the components? (Maybe som plexi under the mesh could solve this?) How did you get the sidepanel and fangrill, so...... smooth? What are you going to do to the front?
I think it looks ugly too, you should have just cut a cricular hole in the side, put the mesh behind that and then put the fan screw behind that. Then it would look very slick. I guess he used a very low grit wet and dry paper, something like 1400 i would think.
Dude... you got me subscribed. Love what you did with the bare metal look and the chrome fan grille and the mesh.... Masterful!
thanks friends for the good feedback - for sanding i used P600 (looking for P1400 - P2000 -but it's hard to find !) and it took me 2 hours - for the cut , i decided to do something....special. what you think ?? to be honnest my girlfriend don't like the design of the cut.. i'm not sure that is definitive, BUT THIS ONE IS MINE !! (and i like it)
The only thing I don't like about that side panel is the raised grile. I mean it might look good if it wern't rasied so much, or if the risers were different. L J
