Next step is the work on the other side..
Started with the draw of a new cut - on an old door case -
    [IMG]

    The result:

    The cut on the door:

    With the 'inevitable' mesh :)

    and.......... :worried:

believe me or not , i made the cut in the wrong side !!!!!!!! :duh:

    2 solutions
    - finding a new door :worried:
    - making another cut in the good side :dremel:

i decided to go with the second :)
    something like that:

    after a new black paint....

    and a P1200 sanding :thumb:

Nice recovery! That actually looks really nice - good job :) The other side lookes great with the mesh / chromed / black look.. keep it it!

    :D

The only thing I'm not to sure about is it kinda looks like the silver surround of the 'Alpha' worded doesn't match the hole cut in the case side.. ? I think if I were you I'd open up the hole a little more.

agreed - but couldn't you just put that panel on the other side of the case?

    Really like your Hole+Mesh work.

   ! nice moddin dude
i just looked at this and was like OMG! my case is gonna end up looking very similar. I've been planning a case for a while now, involving sanding down the case to its steel, using mesh + a radiation fan grill :hehe:
Well i won't let this stop me, i'll just see how i can make it differ to this :)
keep up the wicked work :D

    New side grill:

cut of a ring in the rest of the cut of the front 120 blowhole (clear ??).

    black paint on the screws.

    the ring on the case.

over the ring a classiq grill black painted.

now why didn't I ever think of using a speaker grille over a fan? :duh:

looks awesome, though the normal wiregrille in there with the outer ring of the other grille and the speaker grille looks a little overkill. maybe try it with just the ring and the speaker grille?

then again, who am I to give advice to someone that so obviously knows what they're doing.

keep up the good work man, this is gonna look awesome (assuming you use the same tools and imagination that went into The O)

    1 flaming (I can't resist :D )
1 cut to insert the card reader.

    An Orange paint -

The LCD is my old 2 lines green :( , i'm waiting for the money to buy a cool blue one ;)

    a little halloween look :D

In the future I'll paint the card reader , add light to the front plexi.......etc etc.

for the color - nothing decided yet

    and ideas for the top.....
