Modding Propeller Clock on a Mirror

    Hi guys,

    Found this on the web, would look sweet in a plexi mod! Brilliantly done if i may say so.
    also checkout the vid.

    After strolling around some more, it seems that Bob Blick is the godfather of this thing, he designed it 7 years ago!
    There's tons of links to many variants of that clock, however the plexi mirror version is by far the sweetest.

    I think the noise of it spinning would be annying after a while...

    hehe this is just a thing to do for Zap me thinks.
    Make it a horizontal version with the led bar sticking up, since it is PIC controlled one could interface it in realtime with a PC and let it display any information you want.
    Or am i talking crap now :geek: :hehe:

    No, it can be done.
    I suggested this in my ideas thread, using a 120mm fan, but that requires polar calculations to figure out when to light the LEDs.

    BTW...Respect to Bob Blick :dremel:
