I would like a window cut in my new case which is arriving on monday the picture of the design is below. This isnt really a design more of a picure i found and l like the outlink ignore all the detail in the center just the outline is what i want. The price below shoud cover labour and any materials that are needed, if not please state other wise.

Just wondering, you pay anyone to do it that lives in the U.S.?

 

If i was to let a US modder do this job it could be months before i get it back and it would also cost me a ton to send it and have it sent back so i would have to rule out US sorry.

id be interested in seeing how this turned out, as i was thinking about asking someone to machine my side window... anyone know a proper company/someone with a big CAD/CAM setup who could mebbe get an ultra complex design done?

I'm sure a metal shop in your area would do it. Just becasue they're not computer windoow experts, doesn't mean they don't know jack about metal cutting

 

That's what I was thinking. Check out places that do water or lazer cutting, it shouldn't cost too much...

 

If that's too expensive, I'm betting at some metal shop around there is someone who could cut it out for you by hand. Also, if anyone here at bit-tech lives near you, you might be able to drive to their house and have them cut it out for you (not me of course, or i would have already offered help)

google (try the new local.google.com), look in business listings maybe? if you don't see anything that lists watercutting or laser cutting, try calling a few metal shops, see if they have one or know any places that do.

Was my case and window design but I didn't need it so gave it to richman along with the case I sold him.

The design could be simplified quite easily, taking out some of the detail in the 'tail' would make the job much easier.

 

ok change of plan, i just want a abnormal window cutting becuase this design will be almost impossible for "ME" to cut.

maybe abmormal was the wron word, diffrent was the word i should have used, i would like it to be diffrent by this i mean when i got to a lan i havent go the same shaped window as everyone else.
