Well if a man and his case love each other very much...
I had the honour of checking this thing out in person over the weekend... and its looking awesome
Last pic LOL
Hey hey Cheers. Archer Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to fully assemble it but you got the idea
Are you still on planet earth? lol
I am, yes. I still have everything. I know no-one will believe me if I say this but I am not abandoning the project. I study Engineering away from home and this is why It's on hold. Just trust me. I occasionally think of how I am disappointing the sponsors. It will see progress again.
Its all good, i was just checking if everything was ok on your side. glad to hear you are ok =)
Thank you. Relatively okay. I am working very hard and maintain a relationship
Whats it it preciousss?
Update #10 :: Whats is it preciousss?
05 May 2014
So, on this day, not a special day, just a day, I bring you an update. Strange?
Since 2012 (not the end of the world) I have been studying engineering. Time has been taken from me like toys from a naughty boy, and has also been taken captive by a creature that calls herself "girlfriend". Funds, on my side, seemed to immigrate to somewhere... else.
But still, after all this time, I rise again. Prox has been resurrected like Agent Culsen in 'Agents of SHIELD', and has seen some attention and progress in the past few days. Savor this moment, ans the next update would typically be in a few months, even only at the end of this year.
Biggest pity, I don not have a desktop PC anymore so this case will solely be assembled, with borrowed pars, for a photoshoot, and then stand empty once more, for some time, at least.
Typical me, did not take progress pics, but I will give a summary of what I did, and the post the photos.
Things I did:
That was phase one.
The real things:
-Finished off most of the interior parts. They can now be out away until I assemble the whole thing
-Made the inner wooden rim (took the whole 2 years which I haven't posted )
Next up would be the side panels and vent in the top of the case.
Here are the photos:
so until then we may not ask for any updates?
good to see you still working on this
loving the addition to the outer frame
Hey, there's nothing wrong with the wholesome, mutually consenting love between a man and his PC case...
Lekker to see another South African here!
Yeah, you can ask as much as you want, anything can happen. I'm not so far from completion.
Not really an addition, it's been in the design since the beginning.
Long time no update & very nice pieces, looking good.
Thanks Wayne. I'm just so disappointed about the number of replies now against how many I got at the beginning. This update was like 4 days worth of work, even if it doesn't look like it.
Glad to see you back here Razer matey . Nice work, as always. Can't wait to see it done. Please work faster than Nexxo and Cheaps ... lolol, that's a joke .
Take your time, quality over quantity / speed. A missus love will always be more worthy than a case love.
Keep us updated and keep up the good job
Thank you very much. Yeah I will TRY to work faster but it depends on a lot of things.
Thank you for stating that, it is really true.
You're welcome. My kids eat up all my free time, so my designs stay as pure digital designs xD. One day, maybe, they'll come to life.
Things seem to be just really slow currently. I posted up a new project the other day, didn't receive a single comment, the one I put up a couple months back got like 10-12 in the first day (admittedly that one is probably a lot more interesting than the newer one).
More importantly, good to see an update!
Serendipity is bliss, just so happened that I was going through this very log again last week, was wondering if anything had come of it.
Activity on the forum is pretty slow, compared to a few years ago. My humble thread in the Modding subforum as not seen any input between 31th of January and 4th of April ... and it was still available on the 2nd page of the threads list.
Oh yes, I can imagine. I hope your designs come to life. They were very good.
Thank you Maki! Yes it's strange how sometimes readers go crazy and other times you hear nothing. It's the same on the forums I participate on with my other hobby.
That's sad. I'll have a look what's new there.
What also troubles me is that there are so very few scratch builds. MOTY 2013's top 4 places were all mods, mostly Cosmos II... which is sad.
