    I tracked myself down a 12v>7.5V converter (made by game and what a mess the wiring was inside)I resoldered the components to sit on the board and put a HS on the big tranny.
    Im ready to test but have a problem.
    How can i test the unit works without conecting to a screen?
    Resistor size for dummy load?

    a multimeter for the voltages and how many watts is the screen?

    a large resistor and a multimeter should be able to test it ...

    it might act differently when there is a load(resistor) on it
