There has been fuss mate, just not here.

There have been quite a few problems reported with the first batch. Cracked screens, missing buttons etc.

Hopefully the UK released product will be from a more mature manufacuring process. I hope they keep the prices nice and low for UK, but I doubt it.

You can get an imported nintendo DS for about £110 but the PSPs seem to me to be about £250.

Yeah I saw a few in the local CEX and was baffled as they've received next to no UK advertisement as far as I've seen. The screens look very nice irl though :)

hmm theres something fishy, if it was out, it would be on the news? :hehe:

the DS is a waste of $$. 2 screens, waste of battery life and bad graphics.
although it is good for the bargain shopper :)

The PSP has better graphics and better titles coming into it

AFAIK March 18th I believe is the launch date for the PSP in the UK and the DS does reportedly have a much longer battery life than the PSP.

I'm personally holding out for the PSP myself, they're about the equivalent of £100 over on Japan but I think the UK price is going to be closer to £150ish... :wallbash:

Yeah it came out in December in Japan. There's not such a fuss because not very many were sold and they sold out really quickly.

Both the DS and PSP are good in their own ways. The DS had a better battery life, it's more innovative and better games, (IMO) but the PSP is damn nice looking.

On the battery side of things the DS lasts about 6-8 hours and the PSP lasts about 3-4 while gaming and about 2-3 watching movies.

They both look very cool. My dilemna is which one to get first :D

This will take some explaining to the girlfriend.

The DS version of Warioware will be worth checking out to see how much use they make of the tilt sensors:

Archer Maclean's Mercury looks like a very cool game as well.

Sorry to detract from the thread but check these games out ;)

That looks fun, but one of those games id borrow from a friend to try out, play for 10 minutes and get bored really very quickly. Saying that, i havent bothered with handheld gaming machines ever since the GB original, and that rarely ever got used.
