Well i have a crappy 350 watt psu that came with my raidmax, and i dont use it so i saw it had an 80mm fan in it which was sodered to the board. So i took it off and 1st i decided to splice the wires to a molex connecter with some wires alrdy on it. Then i tested it it didnt work... So i tryed just sodering the wires that came from the molex connecter to the fan. Still not working... Is it a conflict of dc??? I do not know much about electonics

the red wire on a molex is only 5v you want to hook up the + to the 12v which is yellow

It may of only been a 5v fan, the 12v you just put to it may have fried the motor....
