Using punctuation has been proven to keep your computer cool.

You should also try fitting an exhaust fan, looks like you have an 80mm hole there? As it stands the PSU will be taking the heat from the CPU, which won't conveniently squeeze out the back just because there's a hole. You need an exhaust fan to be effective, preferably a 120mm one if you can mod the case.

Can you take a photo of the whole case? What intake fans do you have?

here are some more pics, i do have a fan controler so i can always tweak down the fans atm my system is really quiet i don't have cooling probs with my quad or my 8800gt as they both have good cooling devices on them, my hard drive also gets uncomftably hot as well

if you look at last picture you can see a bar on the bottom right i was planning to get rid of that, so i can blow some air on the hard drive so that can stay cool

That's a really... old... case for running an overclocked Q6600. It doesn't look like there are any intakes of exhaust fans other than the GPU. Air won't push itself through a hole.

Adding a 120mm intake and exhaust would make a big difference. If there's not room at the back for a 120, take the second fan off the TRUE and add an 80mm.

You could also move the HDD down a few slots. Sitting there, the flow over the top of the disc is very restricted. If it is sitting in a more open space (above and below) convection should be improved.

Ultimately if you can't add some more fans or cut some more holes, get a new case. For £30 this: CM RC 330 would be enough. I've built a system in it and it's surprisingly good for the price, comes with a 120mm exhaust as standard and room to mount a 120 intake too.

Speedfan gives a readout of HDD temps, it might be worth giving a shot to see if you can pin-point the issue.
