Evening... I'm really taken with the Be Quiet Dark Pro 550w, excellent reviews and £20 less than its 650w bigger brother. The problem is the potential cost of a RMA to Germany, has anybody had to RMA a Be Quiet, how much did it cost. What are people's recommendation for a quality PSU in the 550 to 700W range, for around £80 with a UK RMA? Thx
Surely if it goes wrong in the first year (which if it's faulty manufacture is more likely than later) the RMA is to your UK supplier? But for cost to anywhere just get the weight and look up the postal charges. It's not hard to use search engines. But get a Corsair, RMA to China.
Firstly, may I thank you for your balanced and informative reply, which with great aplomb failed to sensibly answer any of my questions. Search engines, easy to use, duh, even if I had a precise weight for the PSU, which I don't, the fact that the Be Quiet is modular, only compounds the difficulty in obtaining an accurate weight to calculate postal costs. Corsair RMA to China, this must be an example of your stella wit in full flow, I feel privileged to witness the nascent steps of new satirist to match the likes of Oscar Wilde; other mere mortals think that Corsair's RMA centre is in Holland, pity their feeble minds! I was simply looking for any forum member's experience of a RMA with Be Quiet. If you did not want to respond or had nothing positive to contribute, why did you not just ignore the post and carry on increasing the sales revenue of Kleenex. Many Thanks
First year RMA'd to point of purchase. Thenward on be-q is to the UK afaik (to the distributor), same as Corsair, who now have a UK office but I'm not sure whether that handles RMAs. It might be NL.. Will have to check.
