    Hey all!

I am going through my checklist for parts that I'll need to buy and I have hit a slight snag.
I am going to make extensions for my PSU so I do NOT void a perfectly good warranty, although it is pretty tempting.....:eyebrow:

    I have this PSU http://www.fsp-retail.com/en/booster_a.asp?pro_catId=20&categoryId=1&productId=72
I have read in another thread that PSUs use 14AWG wire. All I can find at frozenCPU and performance-pcs is 18AWG.

So, I am looking for a reputable place to get some wire, and of course, what kind.

    Thanks!:thumb:

18awg is correct. don't get it from performancePCs though, just go down to your local hardware store.

14 is real common in autos. Hike over to Checkers or PepBoys or whatever auto 'charge too much' store you have locally. Napa is high but has good choices even if you have to order.

Cool cool. I figured that a PC modding site would carry the correct stuff. Always better safe than sorry.

    Thanks guys.

I just wanted to ask a similar question, would 1mm² work as well? It would be similar to 17 AWG. I can't seem to find any measurements in AWG in Europe.
