Pineapple is reserved for Pizza and as a garnish to an 80s cocktail, only!

    Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up.

Is this a normal thing across flavours now? A dozen is the only acceptable number in a pack. Admittedly it's been a long time since I bought Jaffa cakes - no idea why, just haven't.

    Fixed that for you.
The M&S ones are okay but the Bahlsens will ruin other jaffa cakes for you.

Pineapple seemed to be popular in NZ, you could even get it in a chicken burger at Burger King

Right, better get some Bahlsen in and have a taste test against those super succulent Sondey JCs from Lidl.

**Edit** Looks like a trip to Waitrose for the Bahlsen.
In other news, it's 'quick the Tesco order closes tonight moment' - add Pineapple Jaffas; purely for science purposes you understand.
Maybe drop a couple off each for the LAN boys to sample.
Will NOT be adding the Orange and Cranberry Jaffas on the same shelf :eyebrow:

    Fair if brutally honest.

On that subject, I really don't like Club orange biscuits; if they still exist.

I think I am upset with them as they 'polluted' the other biscuits in the biscuit box when I was a youngster.

I'm sure there's something on the biscuit shelf that you can't resist....:naughty:

Maybe we need a favourite biscuit thread?

Yeh orange clubs were the worst. We had a chocolate biscuit tin for our lunch boxes and they'd infect everything. It's the orange in jaffas that I don't like. If they did a caramel version, toffee, fudge or mint cream I might be down for it, but not the orange.

I love biscuits though. Sainsbury's taste the difference range are so good. The oat and treacle cookies are heavenly.

I do like those higher end cookies too, @The_Crapman. IM(v)HO the Sainsbury's ones are bit on the crispy side for me, I like them chewy. Oat & tracle are good, as are the ginger ones.

Tesco ordinary Sultana and oat are pretty good, but the Coop Irresistible Fruity flapjack cookies (Asda used to do a similar one) with the apricots in are the ones that are my treat buy.
Even more so as they are usually £2.30 each, or 2 for £3. Rude not to buy 2!

Fine looking hedgehogs, but I think a 1/2 grapefruit was the base of choice in the 70s.

What about pineapple upside down cake? Only valid with a glacé cherry in the middle of each pineapple ring.

Flashbacks to school cookery classes in the 80s.

Terry's chocolate orange can do one. It has the texture of wax fruit and the flavour of wax fruit. Orange is just not a flavour I enjoy, unless it's a tall cool glass of oj.

I like my biscuits like I like my midget hookers; short and will slurp up a big load.

The Sugar Tax has made them even worse.

Mint Chocolate though is the combo that always makes me nauseous at the thought... it invariably tastes like toothpaste and often manages to contaminate anything it comes in even the vaguest contact with.

I love chocolate oranges. They have the added advantage of counting as one of your five a day...

Big fan of After Eights too, I've typically eaten them before 8PM though. Nothing bad has happened yet :worried:.

But, in the reality where you didn't touch them until After 8, you're the hero that saved the world, like, like Irn Bru, I mean Iron Man

    I think you're safe, i mean i don't think they specify a day.

Technically it's always after 8PM. :thumb:
