Anyone here used an Android HU? Thinking of getting this badboy or something from Pumpkin. Wondering what people have tried and tested?
i did mount a nexus 7 in a mazda3 dash i looked at many of these but at the time i didn't like the specs .... the nexus was a bargain and has a better resolution and my god the rom's more than you can shake a stick at ... i would rather buy a amplifier for the carsound (or use an old unit with line in ) and a obd2reader for car info and a nice tablet with a mount or try to find a suitable sized one for your application it would be cheaper and have the same or more functionality as one of those
I've seen a fair number of them installed in Honda Civics as that's the forum I'm on as I own one, they seem really good and will only get better once Android Auto becomes more widespread.
