I get on better with most canines/felines than I do with a lot of humans... :(

Lovely fur-balls, all of them. :)

Pure Chihuahua, she’s the latest addition to our “pack”.

I want a grey Chihuahua. One day.....

Not allowed any pets atm but would love one as a companion. low maintenance too, without huge food bills.

Either that or a Yorkie. Loved my one to bits, he was a lovely little doggy.

I wasn't keen on small dogs until we got our first chihuahua. They sleep, eat very little, play and cuddle. They are the best companion dogs.

I have totally changed my mind.

As I said to my cousin's husband (who owns two blue Dobermans) "Big man doesn't need a big dog". He sneered, but it's true. I don't need a dog to protect me I can do that myself.

    Wee dogs are awesome.

But Dobies are just big goofy snugglebugs if you treat them right. On that note they look so different when they haven't had their ears cut.

One of my favourite dogs was our doberman. Soft as anything, spent most of the time with his pink squeaky ball in his mouth. He didn't have his ears cut. I hate seeing them cut. An American thing and not justifiable in any way.

Just like Staffies, never known one that isn't a happy, friendly softy. Our next door neighbour's Staffy and our Jack Russell get on great.

Like a lot of things that are claimed to be dangerous - they can be, with the wrong people at the controls...

The first born of our litter has become really attached to me (mutual I will admit) and I decided that we can't let her go so I named her Dakota and she is staying with us.

Don't seem to be able to add images presently to the thread like the photo thread?

So was his, after it had stopped snarling and barking at you wanting to remove your throat.

However, he needed a dog like that for a reason. He is away with work abroad a lot and leaves his wife and daughter at home. So it was a horse for a course. I mean don't get me wrong Dudley was a big sop but he was trained to protect. And it took at least 10-15 minutes before he would realise you weren't there to test him.

But yeah, walk in. No eye contact, sit down and get on with your stuff and the dog would literally jump up on the sofa next to you, sit upright and put his paw on your shoulder. Beautiful dog. Sadly he passed away quite recently due to a heart defect. My cousin Jo always said she hated him, but we knew she loved the snot out of him. Which soon became evident once he had died :( she was gutted.
