well no update for today. i am going to do more either tomorrow or just when i get the sheet metal and the acrylic.

 

ok people the aluminium isnt arriving untill monday now theree was a problem with the stock so im getting 18g instead its bassically 0.3mm thicker. but they were kind enough to phone me in person and they havent charged me the extra for it so its all good!!! and if i get my allowance tomorrow i may be having to go to homebase yet again!!!

 

just thought i would update you. i have decided what fans i am going to be using for the case http://www.shinyhardware.co.uk/products/Evercool_Aluminium_fan_120mm/2683/

but im painting the centre circle black and the fans metallic purple. and im going use purple cable sleeve with black heat shrink. but i will need a fan controller for them! lol cause there will be 5 of them in the case!

 

I just thought I would point out the hypocrisy in these statements. I know my comment is a bit off topic but seeing as how this thread was progressing, I felt justified in pitching in.

 

lol yer but that money has only ever gone on food al the stuff i buy comes out of my wages!

ahh as humans we are not perfect . will be looking forward to your progress.

interesting fan, pretty expensive though lol but that must be because it comes in with a built in heatsink. how much that will effect the ambient temp is beyond me

 

no thats a cheap fan! lol some fans over here (the really silent ones) are like £13.99 trust me its a cheap fan.

haha the urge is there . now that the weekend has no struck upon me, i think it is about time that i start doing a pricelist and find out how much i need!

hmmm i think when monday comes around [where i will be done with my exams], i'm going to build my case on sketchup or something. cause i'm thinking of adding a feature that allows me to kind of personalize my case whenever i feel like it. get all of this sorted before i act. and the more i think about it, the more i want to do a from-scratch build.

btw your continuing your mod tomorrow yea? june 4th.

 

yer i would if i were you. just remember to get dimensions! lol i will have another update tomorrow aswell hopefully if my materials arrive early. cause i cant mod in the afternoon cause ive got my last business test.

 

haha yea, definitely dimensions. btw may i ask, what are the dimensions of your Al angles?
