Friggen beautiful, man! Not many can rock the beige with the class this pulls off. I would have loved to seen what would happen if you painted the underside of the inner panels, THEN got them laser cut. They work really well in the satin finish here, though. -Just so many nice details... The discreet start point of the EL wire, the exposed metal on the edges... -BTW, how did you do that without staining the paint with the dreaded black polish grime?

    Thank you Cheapskate,
Sanded the edges of the panels to grid 2000. Then I used Commandant nr5 to get the finish. I could have gone higher to 3k but I didn't had any sanding path with me.

I love this build. One of my favorite since the beginning of the year.

    Question:
Was the creamy white of the outside intended to contrast with the regular white of the inside or was it a paint job issue which turned out good?

I'm asking this because I had regular whites turning creamy because of UV exposure before clear-coating.

    Thank you Dimdibim,

The creamy beige look on the out side was intended. My first Idea was to paint everything white.
But after some time I wanted a little bit of contrast with the inside.
