    Okay,

Ive just replaced my 120mm ys-tech fan (the biggie with 105cfm)

to 2 120mm evercools which both together seem as quiet as the ys-tech.

Now Ive seen a 6'C drop in temp on my CPU from 38'C to 32'C and my system temp has dropped from 48'C to 40'C

Now if only I knew how to overclock

I'll guess that's one each side. Do you know the cfm on the Evercools?

I'd like to do this but my two 120mm Fans are mismatched and a pair of new Papsts is a bit of a scary purchase.

These evercools seem quite good. They were only £5 each (they came with 3pins and a converter to make them 4) with p&p free.

Running them on my Noise Isolator fan controller on lowest setting.

Ive bought panaflo's in the past but for the extra money I didnt find them that much quieter.

I suppose that is about 75% less than the Papsts but I've got a bit of a hangup on fans.

Whats the noise like when you drop the voltage on them?

I have 2 big loud 120mm fans one on either side of my rad. with some shielding for a nice wind tunnel effect works ALOT better then just one

if i want it quite i switch them to 5v or 7v and they do a good job for cooling at low system loads, and switch em back to 12 for high loads

unless your rad is mounted to the top of the case with one fan onthe bottom blowing up....you should always have 2(one on either side) on it...it just works better

I was wondering, Do you have to put two shrouds then I assume, one on the front and one on the back, or you could have them hugging the rad but that doesn't seem to give the best flow. NOw what happens if your rad can hold 4 fans (like the BIX2) You need four shrouds??? :)

Nah, just two shrouds set up to take two 120mm each. Now that is a extreme water cooling set up.

But would handle TEC's or whatever pretty well.

Anyone interested in a quad of 120mm Delta 130cfm fans on a really large heater core?
