    Hi all,
    Built a new rig delighted with it.......but my Mega Shadow has two fans.......bought 2 PWM
    Sharkoon......and an Akasa adaptor ....this works great but ....MB keeps reporting CPU fan error as power is drawn from PSU as opposed to MB header.

    Reading MB info the header will withstand 26w of power draw. My fans only draw 2.6w each.
    I would like to connect the fans together and connect them directly to MB so that the error stops and I also get an RPM reported in Probe sw. Do I simply splice the wires together....omitting the RPM wire to the second fan (only pwm,power,gnd).........
    I am afraid of making a wiring blunder and smutting the board.....will PWM control the speed of 2 fans simultaniously????

    Could somebody provide me with a little wiring diagram..............

    Hope you can help

    Richard

    As you've said -

    Splice the red to red, black to black but only use 1 yellow sensor wire

    Google ' Daisy chaining fans ' , if you need more info.

    Hi thanks for the reply............my fans are four pin........so this is what I intend to do.........
    The wire colours are...
    Black....power/grnd
    Yellow .....power/gnd
    Green = RPM???
    Blue = PWM
    I was intending to wire.............
    Yellow,Black,green,Blue (pwm) to 1st fan as std.......... then connect second fan
    using yellow,black,Blue (pwm)..........leaving green out......I think this is the RPM feedback....
    if you connect this it screws up your fan speed readings.......

    Is this ok
