I placed it on a warm piece of bread and switched the fan on, the bread froze within 30 seconds:jawdrop:

seriously, don't know as I am working and this is my lunch hour, will tackle it tonight and tomorrow;)
I have to also install an OEM version of Vista, not sure how smooth that will got,or not:worried:

Insane. Totally, barking mad. But I suppose you need it...
    What's a good less-extreme cooler for a dual core E6850?

Glad to read someone else has it and its workign well for them, in a recent test by PCFormat magazine showed that the Freezer Pro is great, though not quite as cool as you managed to get yours :p.

I would say the Arctic Cooler myself, never heard a bad word against it, and more importantly... its cheap as hell! It can be got for under £15! Absoulute bargin if you ask me.

A less extreme (similar price, but not so big) would be the ThermalRight Ultima 90 . . . very effective cpu cooler, but not too big, and most importantly a much more sensible weight than the 120 size offerings (infinity ninja, 120 extreme, asus artic square).

Fit a 120 fan on the ultima by the way.
