    Have seen these chips on here and am ondering where they can be purchased in the UK? spesificaly the qt110 8-dip version. Here comes totaly stealthed CD heaven.

    -->p.s. not sure if i have psoed this in the rigth place

    Digikey accepts Solo and stocks the QProx chips. However, Digikey does have a minimum order requirement, so make up excuses to get other stuff if you were only after the QT110.

    Farnell should be your friend. Sadly they only stock QT110-H in DIP8.

    I have, no problem. Takes about 10 days, VAT & duty-free if order under £18 (about $30) :thumb:

    You could always get a PLCC version and get a PLCC socket if it comes down to it. Though DIP is easier to work with than small PLCC chips.

    would be about as much hastle getting the debit card as finding a shop for these things

    orderd them now from fernell, now that my mums home and i can use her card. :thumb:
