I have a powered eSATA connection on my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe Motherboard and I'd like to take advantage of it. So I'm looking for a quality powered eSATA cable of a decent length. Obviously it needs a strip on one end for connection of SATA and POWER to the HDD or SSD and then a powered eSATA connection of the other to link it with the motherboard!

    Recommendations appreciated.

    You mean something like this:

(I know you are not in the U.S... this is just for me to know, if this is what you are looking for).

I don't know any HDD enclosures that takes power from eSATA, only USB-like memory keys, but on powered eSATA, instead of a USB plug.

In my case, I use a normal size HDD enclosure, which take eSATA, and is powered via a power plug.
