I've been offered the following (used) laptop for just over £300/around $500. Was wondering if someone could tell me if this would be value for money, and how well would it be able to run modern games?

    • Product Name: dv6-6150
    • Microprocessor: 2.3 Ghz Intel Core i5-2410M
    • Memory: 4 GB DDR3
    • Video Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6770M (2GB GDDR5 dedicated)
    • Display: 15,6" High-Definition 95% Gamut B+RG LED 1080p (B156HW01 V7)
    • Hard Drive: 500 GB SATA (7200 rpm)
    • Multimedia Drive: SuperMulti DVD±R/RW with Double Layer Support
    • Network Card: Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN
    • Wireless: 802.11 b/g/n
    • Sound: Beats sound system

Also read online that the dv6 series of laptops tend to have issues with overheating, can anyone here confirm that? I'm currently looking for a new laptop anyway so if anyone can recommend a better one in a similar price range (preferably from within the UK) to the above I would be grateful :)
