I'm getting a Triplex Milenium GF4 Ti4600, why? Because itll look sweet in my clear case plugged into my Soyo KT333 DRAGON Ultra (Platinum Edition) sweet combo huh? anyways... I was wonering how well dual head works? I do a lot of graphics work and dont have the money for a Parhelia or matrox card. I also want to be able to play games on this comp. So like if I have my mouse in one screen and move it past the edge of it will the cursor go to the screen next to it? Or do i have to bring up some menu or press some button to switch screens? Also could I have Counter-Strike in one screen and website and IRC and AIM in another just so im not blind to what people are saying? anyone who has dual head display setup please tell me what you think of it and any tips. Oh yeah. I got two Samtron 17" monitors for it. they were on sale foor bout 70 buccks each, 40 dollers off so i was kinda happy.
Hopefully with that card you will be able to set up dual head in wondows with no trouble. This will allow you to use two different resolutions and totally seperate control. When its set up you can move the secondary around so its either on the right, left, top or even bottom. When that is done you will get a blank desktop on the secondary monitor depending on the orientation all you have to do is move your mouse over the edge and it will move onto the second monitor. You can then drag things over there and maximize it on that monitor. Gaming is the same it will run on your primary monitor unless you set it up to stretch over two which not many games support. When gaming the secondary monitor should still display what you left on it, so you could leave IRC on the secondary monitor to keep an eye on the conversation while you play. Have fun, you will love multiple monitors, I am mising it now that my radeon has bust.
they both glow under black light cold cathodes.... and so will my watercollin tubes... hehe im gonna have have one pimp rig
