Appears when I put on new molex connectors on my PSU on one of them I got the wires crossed (accounts for fried cd-rom) I have the red and yellow back where they should be but what about the black ones? is there a certian way they SHOULD be? Or does it matter with them???
As long as they're connected to the 2 'middle' molex pins it doesn't matter which way round they go, they're all connected to the same place in the PSU

I blew my DVD writer. Not by rewiring the molex - oh no - I was much more silly than that . I tried to plug it in upside down and must have made semi contact because the machine just went off. Luckily the machine came back on but the writer never worked again - it was dead. Just thought I'd share my misadventures with the group
