Modding questions about relocate cd-rom eject switch and led

i had read Zapwizard's method of
Re-wired DVD Activity LED and Eject switch -Guide
and i have some question....

1) can i connect my new switch and the switch in the cdrow with 2 wire at the same part of the switch, like gound to gound and power to power?

2)can i connect the 5 volt to the white circle in the image?

(dont know if the image will show up or not, in case it dont. its the big pin that just locate beside the main power suppy connectior and the pin zapwizard used)

wow.... first thread ive seen moved to modding anyway.... i have rerouted my CD button to be the case badge -- so when you press in the case badge the drive opens (see my budget mod log in my sig )

 

Not sure what you are getting at exactly Lineage, since your images don't work.

If you mean can you wire two switches to the same points, then yes you can.

uh, just connect the new switch in parallel with the old one, and conect the led in parallel also, though you can disconnect the old led though.
